Route 42 came up in 2005 (first L42 tribute band in Italy) from an old Max Gagliasso's unrealized project, putting forward the first Level 42's music span again, characterized by a funky style (sometimes jazz/fusion) that left a mark in the 80's and yet it's a landmark for many musicians, also due to a fantastic members interplay and the extraordinary bassist technique of the bassist/singer Mark King.

Currently our Level 42's tribute plays songs coming from the band birth (1979) to their top fame (1986) trying to revive the sound of that period.
